A Family Affair!
Hi, I'm Paul, and together with my wife Sarah, we've been proudly running Croft Park Café for over nine years.
Family has been at the heart of Croft Park from the very beginning. My parents have been involved since the early days, and as our daughters have grown up, so has their involvement. Today, we're fortunate to have three generations of our family working together, each bringing something special to the business. There's my mum and dad, Jan and Phil — affectionately known as Ma and Pops — our daughters Lucy and Katie, and their partners Owen and Tilly. Alongside us is our fantastic wider team who are every bit as important to the warmth, character and personality of Croft Park.
When we say we're a family-run café, we really mean it. You'll find us welcoming customers, taking orders, preparing food and looking after the little details that make a visit special. There's almost always someone from the family looking after you personally, working alongside a team who share the same pride in what we do.
We're local people who love what we do, and although the café has changed and grown over the years, our approach hasn't. We believe in good food, genuine hospitality and taking the time to make people feel welcome.
Whether you've been visiting us for years or you're discovering Croft Park for the first time, we hope you'll feel the difference that being a family-run café makes.

At Croft Park, we believe everyone deserves to feel at home, including our four-legged visitors! Whether you're catching up with friends, enjoying a family outing or stopping off after a countryside walk, you'll always find a friendly welcome waiting.
We're particularly proud of how we look after our canine companions. Dogs are treated like VIPs here, with plenty of space to relax with their owners both inside the café and beneath our covered outdoor pergola.
We even have a special menu just for dogs, featuring favourites such as Turkey Fricassee, Pawfect Picnic and Shepherd's Pie. And because little touches matter, fresh water, blankets and treats are all provided as standard.
After all, a great day out should include every member of the family — paws and all!
Our Food Philosophy
We believe good food is one of life's simple pleasures. It brings people together, creates memories and makes even an ordinary day feel a little more special.
Our philosophy is simple: start with quality ingredients, treat them with care and let the food speak for itself. We favour traditional cooking methods, fresh produce and making things from scratch rather than relying on unnecessary additives, preservatives or heavily processed alternatives.
We're particularly proud of our approach to baking, using carefully selected flour and simple, recognisable ingredients to produce our own bread. It's part of a wider commitment to knowing what goes into our food, where it comes from and how it's prepared.
We believe that good food doesn't need to be complicated or pretentious. It simply needs to be made properly, with a little time, care and respect for the ingredients.
